Moeru Ryusoken: Kaen Ryuo ( 燃える竜爪拳“火炎”竜王, Moeru Ryūsōken: Kaen Ryūō ?, literally meaning "Burning Dragon Claw Fist: Fire Flame Dragon King"): After forming his "talons" and coating them with Busoshoku Haki, Sabo igniting them with his Mera Mera no Mi powers, Sabo slams them into his opponent and spins them around before blasting his target away with a burst of fire.Sabo combines his Mera Mera no Mi with his Ryusoken.
In the Funimation dub, it is called Dragon Breath. In some games, like in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, Sabo is shown instead jamming his fingers into the ground without turning them into fists. This technique was first used to completely destroy the arena in the Corrida Colosseum. According to Sabo, the basis for this is to send the force of an attack "through" all the way to the target's "core" and achieving such can entirely turn an otherwise hopeless situation the other way. He then pushes them into the floor, creating an immense impact and centered all-directional fissure.
Ryu no Ibuki ( 竜の息吹, Ryū no Ibuki ?, literally meaning "Dragon's Breath"): Sabo puts his clenched fists into the ground while imbuing them with Haki.In current English localizations, it is refered to as Dragon's Claw. To not confuse it with the "claw" in the fighting style's name, the kanji for "kagizume" literally translates to "hooking claw/talon" for some. It was first seen used against Jesus Burgess during the finals of Corrida Colosseum and was powerful enough to destroy his Haki enhanced armor. It can be used with Haki to enhance its power. Ryu no Kagizume ( 竜の鉤爪, Ryū no Kagizume ?, literally meaning "Dragon's Talon"): Sabo attacks the enemy with a three-fingered claw hand strike (very similar to the ones used in Chinese martial arts).Sabo also taught the importance of visualizing an opponents's core to Nico Robin when helping her train palm strikes. By exerting force on the core of structures, it is possible to easily destroy them with a single blow. Īnother important aspect of this style appears to be focusing on the "core" ( 核, kaku ?) of the target. Sabo has also been seen using not only his fingers but also his fists in this style, causing more brutal impacts instead of the concentrated force of his fingers. He can imbue his "claws" with Busoshoku Haki, increasing their power, being able to crush Bastille's steel helmet and causing incredible damage to the Vice Admiral's head. Sabo compares it to a dragon's claws, rending arrogance and conceit.
The Ryusoken style focuses on holding one's fingers in a claw-fashion, crushing the adversaries with a powerful grip. Sabo showcases the immense destructive power of his "claws" by crushing Bastille's metal mask. My fingers are like the claws of a dragon! 'Claws' to tear away power from the conceited!
